Dogwood Classical Academy is incorporated as a non-profit entity in North Carolina and is recognized as a 501(c)3 entity by the IRS (EIN 83-4444010). All donations are tax deductible.
Why we need your help
As a public charter school, Dogwood Classical Academy will receive funding from the state of North Carolina for school operations. This funding does not begin until after our school opening in fall 2024. Thus, Dogwood Classical Academy will incur significant expenses prior to opening that are not eligible for reimbursement, nor are otherwise funded.
Dogwood Classical Academy Capital Fund
Thank you for your support of Dogwood Classical Academy. Our mission is to develop students in mind and character through a rigorous, classical, content-rich curriculum that emphasizes the principles of academic fundamentals, virtuous living, and civic responsibility.
Our Capital Fund will allow prospective parents and community members to donate funds which will be used to cover the funding gaps identified during our pre-opening phase including: curriculum, furniture, supplies, professional development and training, teacher recruiting and facility improvements.
Sponsorship Levels
Socratic Circle - $5,000
The Socratic Circle is composed of individuals and corporations who have donated a minimum of $5,000 to the DCA Capital Fund. Benefits of the Socratic Circle include:

VIP attendance to ribbon cutting ceremonies (up to four individuals)
Recognition on Dogwood Classical Academy website and social media
Recognized annually in newsletter

Founder’s Club - $1,000 - $4,999
The Founder’s Club is composed of individuals and corporations who have donated between $1,000 - $4999.99 to the DCA Capital Fund. Benefits of the Founder’s Club:

Friends of Dogwood - $1 - $999.99
Friends of Dogwood are individuals and corporations who have donated between $1 - $999 to the Dogwood Classical Academy Capital Fund. Friends of Dogwood receive:
